The Laser Medical Skin Center can arrange a "getaway week" for you in beautiful Bend. Spend a week in a townhouse or luxury resort in the forest overlooking the Deschutes River. By arriving on a Thursday or Friday, we can assess your skin and plan your resurfacing procedure for the next day. All follow-up care in the coming days will be arranged for your convenience. Spa services such as manicures and massages can be provided in your suite.
By the following weekend your skin will be healing well with your renewed skin. Our esthetician will provide instructions in home skin care and you will receive personalized cover make up for the residual redness that is expected. You will be ready to return to your usual activities looking great after just one week.
Unlike the older CO2 lasers which require two to four weeks of "down time" and three to six months of significant redness, the Erbium laser has just one week of "down time" and usually only three to six weeks of redness.

Your Travel Arrangements
After you receive your telephone consultation with Dr. Van Camp and review the information on dual-Erbium laser skin resurfacing, you can schedule your treatment and getaway week. We will help you coordinate your reservations for accommodations. Travelers can arrive by private vehicle or fly into Redmond, Oregon airport which serves Bend. (RDM is the airport code.) Limousine and taxi service can be arranged to pick you up on arrival.
Other Considerations
It is good to have a family member or supportive friend with you during your getaway week. (Though it is not required.) Bring those books you have been planning to read or other indoor activities you enjoy. The season does not matter. Bend is beautiful (and most often sunny) in the Winter as well as in Summer. And you will be indoors for much of this week anyway.
